Reboot II..
Did a nice good run at Lake Gardens yesterday evening.. not the best training run I've done, but very satisfying one, at this juncture!
I'm trying to regain back my running fitness (and not to mention lose the weight that I gained since the dengue last year!), and later try to get into the racing bug again! I've been doing some runs the last week or two since I got back from HK, and most of them are run/walks. Today was no different, except I managed to cover 55 minutes of running and 5 minutes of walking in total... that's five 10 minute runs coupled with some 1 - 1.5 minutes of walk intervals. And it felt really good after that (runner's high?), and it gave me a lot of clarity in my head when I did the Top Room show later at night.
But here are the details:
Timing: 1 hour (55 minutes run, 5 minutes walk)
Distance: approx 7km
Effort: medium hard - medium
Feeling: GOOD!!!
Hopefully I'll be able to increase the run intervals next week! Miss being able to run at least half an hour without having to stop for air!
Yeah.. I FEEL GOOD... daah dahh daah dahh daah dahh daah! (Think James Brown!)
